Christmas Message
December 25, 2012 is Christmas Day. Christmas is a time of love, sharing, caring, laughter, family, and food. Christmas is a time of giving back and being a blessing to those people whom God has divinely placed in your life. Christmas is a time where family and friends come together and forget about all their flaws and shortcomings and they love on each other unconditionally. Christmas is a time when unconditional love and regard should be displayed in the lives of strangers. During the Christmas time, it’s important for people to take heed to the opportunity they have to make a difference in someone’s life. Give someone a hug, a warm smile, a helping hand, a kind deed. Christmas is the time to let your light shine so that men see your good works and God get’s the glory. Christmas is a time for you to self reflect and ask God to show you who He desires for you to be a blessing to. Christmas is a time when parents buy their children gifts, cook Christmas dinner and invite people over to eat, laugh, have fun, and fellowship with one another. However, most importantly, Christmas is a time set aside to celebrate the birth of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ. While we are loving on one another, exchanging gifts, eating good food, and having a good time let’s not forget that Jesus is the reason for the season. For Christmas, Jesus has given all of us gifts. Grace, faith and salvation are gifts that God has given to us. Let us show God that we are thankful for him giving us His son as a gift, his mercy, grace, and salvation as a gift. So as you guys are spending time with your loved ones please do stop for a moment and began to thank God for Jesus Christ because without him there would be no reason to celebrate Christmas Day or any other Holiday.
