Today is April 10, 2013. at 6:42 p.m. I know it has been a few months since I last wrote a blog. Today’s topic that I am writing about is believing God for Motion. Before I start, I just want to document how God has blessed me. I want to first start off by saying, thank you Lord Jesus Christ for giving me the revelation of your grace and mercy. Often times we walk around and constantly asking God to forgive us for the same stuff that we do over and over again. God does forgives us because He is rich in grace and mercy. We have to look at things differently. We have to come into the knowledge that our righteousness is in Christ Jesus. Once we come to that awakening, it will become much easier to live a life without that sinful nature. We actually become the new creature in Christ Jesus. We repent (which means to change your mindset about that particular behavior) and trust that God has already cleansed us and forgiven us.
Romans 5:17 says For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.
1 Corinthians 15:34 says Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.
I’ve learned that when you receive the gift of righteousness you become awaken to it and it keeps you from sin because you began to learn who you are in Jesus Christ.
I also want to say thank the Lord for allowing me to have this blog and be an inspiration to all of you. I want all of you to know that I appreciate you reading my blogs and even leaving a comment. It is my prayer that this blog is truly a blessing to you as much as it is going to bless me.
The topic for today is believing God for Motion. How many of you feel that you’ve been at a stand still? How many of you feel that you have the same old job, the same old life, nothing new, nothing exciting at all? How many of you are sick and tired of the same old sickness, the same old diseases, the same old depression, the same old unemployment, the same old circumstances? How many of you want God to do a new thing? If your answer is yes, today I want to encourage you. The Lord desires to do a new things. The Lord is ready to set things in motion.
So let’s believe God for motion together! Ask yourself what is motion? What does motion looks like for you? Before we get started let’s first start by defining motion.
Ready set go! Let’s go! Let’s go! Let’s go!
Motion is defined as The action or process of moving or being moved. Motion also have other definitions as well
1. The action or process of moving or of changing place or position; movement.
2. Power of movement, as of a living body.
3. The manner of moving the body in walking; gait.
4. Bodily movement or change of posture; gesture.
5. A proposal formally made to a deliberative assembly: to make a motion to adjourn.

For me motion is the process in which God shifts me from one place or position to another position. The Bible says In Acts 17:28 For in him (God) we live, move and have our being and we are his offspring. It’s in Jesus Christ that I live and am set in motion. God is calling us to move or be set in motion. God called Abraham to move from his family’s place to a land God would show him. Abraham answered God’s call to move.
Being set in motion for me is moving from the current circumstances. I am believing God for motion in my health, my wealthy, and my wisdom. I am believing God for my own vehicle. I am believing God to not only get my license but to get me a car to be set in motion physically. Many of you know that without a car you are limited to depend and wait on other people to come and pick you up for work, church, and other places you need to go to. No one wants to be restricted and limited in that way. Where the Spirit of the Lord is there is liberty. Freedom! Freedom! Freedom! We are free in Christ Spiritually! God also wants us free in all other areas of our lives!
What have I done to make sure that my motion takes place?
1. I prayed about it! For the Bible tells us to pray without ceasing and that the effectual ferevent prayers of a righteous man availeth much.
2. I took my mom’s drivers license, scanned it onto the computer, put it into Photoshop and edited it. I replaced her name, and other information and put my information in. I even managed to remove her picture and place my picture in it as well.
3. I stepped out on faith! In my case, I took the written test to get my permit last year.
4. I stepped out on faith once again! I went to the Bengal Driving School website http://www.bengaldrivingschool.com/roadtest.htm and called the number. I set up a appointment to take 10 sessions of drivers training. The appointment is set for Monday of next week. Hallelujah! Thank you Jesus!
The next thing for me to do is actually go to the appointment, take drivers training, take and pass my drivers test, go to the Secretary of State, take my picture and get my drivers license.
For too long, I have let fear keep me from being set in motion.
2 Timothy 1:7 says For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
Reading that scripture lets me know that I do not have to fear driving. God didn’t give me the fear it’s Satan who has kept me bound in fear for those 10 years. I am free now in Jesus name! There comes a time in your life you have to face that fear. For me the fear was driving. So I’m facing that fear on Monday. I trust that God is going to protect me in the car and keep me from all hurt, harm, danger and accidents. I trust that when I get in that driver seat, I will drive and do a great job at it too! I trust that I will know how to parelle park, park into parking spaces with other cars! I trust that I will know how to switch lanes, drive on the freeway. I trust in Jesus name, that I will know everything there is to know about driving.
I trust that God’s Spirit is right there with me. I don’t fear what can happen to me anymore. The Bible says perfect love cast out fear. 1 John 4:18 says There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. I decree that I already love driving therefore there is no need for me to fear it at all! I’m an excellent driver! God brought back the memory of me being a little girl. When I was little, I had a red jeep and used to drive it back and forth, up and down the street. I had no fear whatsoever. God ministered to me that children are dare angels. They try things without fear. We have to get back to that place where we have that same faith that a child has. Have you noticed how children will try things not fully knowing the risk of trying new things? If you want something out of life you have to put forth an effort while you are praying and believing God.
I want to encourage you to face your fear as I face mine. If you want God to set you in motion then you have to have faith and move. Faith without works is dead. Don’t fear! Trust God! Fear is only false evidence appearing real! As you trust God and act while you’re believing God for motion then you’ll see that God will show up and show out in your lives. Give God the praise and the glory! Hallelujah! Glory to your name Lord Jesus! Sometimes in life you are going to have to encourage yourself. In my case I’m encouraging myself! So what exactly am I believing God for? I am believing God for my own transportation so that my life can be set in motion. With transportation I will be able to drive myself to church, meetings, work, and many other places. I am doing my part and I am trusting God to bless me with a car. I don’t really care what type of car my first car is. As long as everything works on it and I am able to drive it from point A to B. However, I like everyone else do have a dream car. The dream car I want is a blue Lexus. My dream is to be able to one day ride everywhere I need or desire to go in style. I have been on the Lexus website and I have to say that those cars look really sweet. I got very excited just by looking at the different cars because I know that one day God is going to bless me with one of those cars. I will be soooooooooooooooooo excited! Yes! All things are possible with God! I trust that my God will supply all my needs according to His riches and glory through Christ Jesus! I also trust that if I ask anything in His name that He will give it to me. I trust that God hears my prayers! Not only will I have a drivers license this year but I am believing God will bless me with a car this year, in Jesus name! Hallelujah! Lord I thank you in advance for blessing me to get my drivers license and for blessing me with a car.
Are you believing God for motion too? If yes, what does motion look like for you? Are you believing God for a car to drive, motion in your career, your health, peace of mind, your life in general? If you don’t remember nothing else I said, just remember not to allow Satan to stop you with fear from acting in faith while believing God for motion. More importantly, just remember to put God first in all that you do! Remember that in Him you live, move, and have your being! So through Christ Jesus you can do all things (Phil 4:13). Put forth the effort and God will set things in motion for you. God bless you all and thanks for reading this blog.
