Shawne Monet Jackson’s journey began with challenges, but her passion, perseverance, and creativity shaped her into the accomplished author and entrepreneur she is today. As a child, Shawne faced academic struggles and bullying, yet she found solace and expression in writing, filling countless notebooks with poetry, plays, short stories, and novels. Writing became her lifelong companion and creative outlet. In high school, Shawne discovered a love for graphic design, learning software and exploring her creative potential. Guided by her faith and mentorship from her mother and pastor, she pursued higher education, earning an Associate’s Degree in Business and a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Communications with a minor in Web Design. After graduation, Shawne turned her lifelong passion for writing and creativity into a career. She founded Shamonj Gifts LLC, a company specializing in manuscript editing, book formatting, cover design, and publishing. Her work has been featured on United Gospel Explosion TV in Detroit, and her journals have even been pitched to Shark Tank producers. Through every challenge, Shawne credits her faith in Jesus Christ and the support of Global Empowerment Ministries for guiding her purpose. Today, she continues to inspire others through her writing, publishing, and entrepreneurial ventures, believing that it’s not how you start, but how you finish that defines success.
